I have felt overwhelmed by life many times. Life hasn’t always been easy. My eldest son’s father told me that he wanted another woman in his life, and I left him right when I found out the I was pregnant with my son. My son was born, and I was told that he was going to need surgery at just two months old, and I was sure that it was a genetic trait from my side of the family. I remember my husband of just a few months telling me that he was leaving and wanted a divorce. The divorce and hating every minute of the experience. My house burned down and being grateful for the pillow I had to cry in. My second son’s father died. We lost our home because both my husband and I lost our jobs. My husband cheated on me not once but twice. My father, brother, and sister all died within five months of one another. My mother died the day before Thanksgiving less than two years later. Numerous jobs that didn’t go well, so of the problems were not my fault, but others were. Those were the big things but there were thousands…
