This reminds me of when I was child of four years old and I climbed up on the counter and took the lid off the cookie jar (it was a pig's head) and broke it and one of my siblings was blamed for it and because I was the eldest (and biggest), he didn't tell on me. Maybe he just didn't know how to express telling on me. He was after all, just three years old. I did things like that a lot to my siblings. I would either do something or I had them do something and would get out of trouble because I wasn't the one doing it.
