The other day I had to take my car in to get it serviced. The mechanic was busy and after taking care of other business, I stopped at the local coffee shop. There was no one there but me and the owner and we talked a little. I gained an idea for a writing workshop that we could do this winter. I also gained a couple of ideas for articles that I haven't yet written. I didn't bother getting on my phone, and I was more creative than usual.
