Week 9 of the 12-Week Year

I can feel the crunch this week of the 12-week year as the “year” is now closer to ending than beginning. One of the things that I love about this 12-week year is that it fits well into each quarter. Sunday was a typical Sunday for me. I did what I normally do on Sunday.

However, I decided that since Monday was a holiday (Memorial Day here in the US). I would have a different focus on the day. I decided to take care of a few household chores and focus more on editing the book.

I talked with my daughter again about her writing (along with other things) and we agreed to begin working together in the future within my publishing business. She also has friends who write who might want a publisher to manage their writings.

I have spent much of the week doing the big things that will make the most difference in my business. I have tried to edit a complete chapter daily in my next novel Two Rivers. I finished The Art of Focus by Dan Koe this week as well. I got two new books on Saturday afternoon.

The Big Takeaway for the Week
