I read something the other day that makes a lot of sense. "Smallpox and Polio weren't stopped through herd immunity but by a vaccine."

My Dad had polio as a young man. He walked with a limp all of his life. My mother had whooping cough as a child. She became deaf. My aunt had Rubella when she was pregnant and her daughter became legally blind. My parents made sure I had all my immunizations as a child and I took the Covid shots.

Though I live in an area where many are not immunized, I am no fool.
