I can't tell you how many times I have thought about someone that I had not thought about for a long time only to find out later some major news (good or bad) about them.

I remember the first time this happened when I was thinking about how my parents didn't have any grandchildren yet. I thought about how me and my brother were not likely to be parents any time soon and when it came to my sister, I stopped. At that same moment and across town from where I was, my sister was telling my parents that she was going to give them their first grandchild.

This has happened many times since. Sometimes with family and sometimes with celebrities.
