I agree. All three things, planning, research, and learning are important in their place, but not to the expense of actually writing. A simple plan for the day, for the week, for the month, for the year, that you stick to will keep you on track. Research specifically and limit the learning to specific times during a day AFTER writing projects are done or for a limited time BEFORE writing starts in the morning.
