Habits to Save You Time and Decrease Stress Every Morning
Begin the night before but don’t stop there!
For many of us, mornings can be very stressful, but they don’t have to be that way. We don’t have to be rushed every morning just to get out the door. The morning doesn’t have to run away from us. Especially for families who have children, having a logical order to things will make all the difference in having a hectic morning or a smooth one.
Start Your Morning the Night Before
· Clean up kitchen from evening meal
· Prepare as much of breakfast as possible — set up toaster, set out cereal, set the table, have coffee set up and ready to brew. If possible, have coffee set to start in the morning on a timer.
· Prepare lunches for the following day
· If appropriate, bathe the night before
· If appropriate, bathe your children the night before
· Set out clothes for the morning. Do any necessary repairs or washing before going to bed
· Journal your day and determine goals for the following day.
· Write your gratitude list
· Pack any bags that need replenished.
