Evaluation of the Year 2024

How well did I do?

This is the end of my third Twelve-Week-Year and also the end of the actual year of 2024. Here’s a link to the results of the first Twelve-Week-Year.

I started out this actual year by quickly writing and publishing not one, not two, but three books before the end of June 2024. These books include Because of Ryan, Oregon County, Wild and Scenic, and Book VII of the Locket Saga: Two Rivers. I also finished the first and second drafts of Book VIII of the Locket Saga: Moonrise on the Mississippi which will be published early in 2025.

I have spent a significant period with in-person marketing and made most of my income through this venue. I have added to the local market sales.

I have done some direct marketing online and have had some success with that too, but not what I would like it to be.

I have regularly been writing on my blogs, on Medium, and in my newsletter throughout the year. When it comes to traffic, I find that I have done the best on Medium and my sales on Medium have far surpassed anything that I have done on my blogs or with the newsletter. These are areas I plan to improve during the next year both in traffic and revenue.
