What I accomplished this year

This “year” I have established my daily and weekly routines and kept up with necessary one-time projects. I published and am marketing Oregon County and Because of Ryan. I finished editing almost all of Book 7 of the Locket Saga: Two Rivers.

I have utilized several different direct marketing efforts through 1)local stores, 2) consignment through other local stores 3) direct sales at farmer’s markets 4) direct sales at festivals 4) social media online 5) direct sales via emails to regional independent bookstores, libraries, and gift shops.

I also helped my husband plant, maintain, and harvest the garden.

New Opportunities I Don’t Want to Miss

This week I did a presentation for my book Gourmet Weeds at a library 50 miles from where I live. I talked with the librarian about ways I could help libraries draw clientele into their establishments, help others learn about my books, help other writers, and help build my own business. More about this in a future article.

This week my daughter also asked me to be her writing coach. This was an opportunity that I will not only not pass up, but also intend to build upon.
