One Step Back but Three Steps Forward in Book Marketing

On Sunday, I was supposed to go to an event that was supposed to be going on for the entire weekend. However, when I got there, no one had been there. In addition, it was very windy and raining. I decided to return home. I could have beat myself for having made this decision. It’s easy for “what ifs” to plague me. I let it go and decided that instead of beating myself up over this, I would double down in other areas of marketing.

On Monday, before the eclipse, I went to two stores and got them to purchase books at wholesale of my latest book Oregon County, Wild and Scenic. Again, I worked a while on the taxes.

Every day, during the week I emailed more libraries about stocking my book Gourmet Weeds. I finished my library list and started contacting retailers in the area. Friday, I received an email saying that a retailer was interested in the book and wanted more details. It would be a big opportunity if they come through and purchase an order of the book.

Big Steps in Financial Documentation

I think that the biggest accomplishment I made was doing my taxes.
