Beyond the Daily Routine

Week 7 of my 12-Week Year

This week I managed to keep up my normal routine, but I also found ways to move beyond my routine.

On Sunday, I had a great conversation with my daughter about her writing. She’s started writing a murder mystery who-done-it role-playing game where they try to figure out who-done-it and any of them could be the murderer. She’s enjoyed developing the characters.

I suggested that she create this into a book that I would be happy to publish for her. I don’t know that I would have had the confidence to do this at the beginning of the year definitely an improvement in mindset.

On Monday, I drafted the newsletter for the week.

Wednesday, I decided to get several items off my to-do list, so I went down the list and completed them. These included errands I had to run as and send some emails that I had procrastinated in sending.

Almost immediately, I heard back from one, and on Thursday I made a phone call to discuss the possibility of putting Gourmet Weeds into a big franchise. I still have a couple of things to do for that to happen. I’m sure I’ll have more on this shortly.
