Several years ago I read James Clear’s book Atomic Habits. I was a substitute teacher and the classroom teacher had the book on her shelf, so I spent the entire day (students were in high school and they knew their assignments) reading it and learned a lot about creating habits.

It’s a book about how to get rid of bad habits and create great habits that improve your life. It has helped millions get rid of bad habits and establish new ones.

I love how habits and routines created from habits have improved my life. With better habits, I can get more done in a day and get closer to becoming the person I always believed I could be.

A New App-Atoms

Since then, I started receiving newsletters from James Clear, and in the process I began learning more about what he’s been doing over the past few years.

A few days ago, James Clear launched a new phone app called Atoms. This app helps individuals keep track of habits that they want to accomplish and incorporate into their lives. I signed up for the app to check it out. (Fortunately for me, I have an iPhone because as I am writing this post, it is not yet available on Android.)
