As I was reading this I was thinking about how I didn't get upset about my laptop breaking down in the middle of that challenge I placed on myself. I thought that if I were the boss in my company (which I am) and this happened to one of my employees, I would have been understanding with them. Don't I deserve the same consideration? Sure there were things I could have done, but I determined that I wouldn't give myself the anguish.
